College BIology
College Biology is full-year, college-level survey course of all the areas of biology including but not limited to: cell biology, chemistry of life, genetics, evolution, animals, plants and ecology. These topics will be examined in depth with the goal of showing the inter-relatedness of the major areas of biology. Lab experiences will be used to reinforce understanding of major biological concepts.
This is a college course where you are actually enrolled at Saint Cloud State University. You must be in the top 1/3 of your class academically as a junior to attain college credit. You must be in the top 1/2 of your class academically as a senior to attain college credit. Upon completion of each of the two semester courses, your grade will be submitted to S.C.S.U. and you will receive 3 semester credits if you pass the course. (For a possible 6 college credits at the end of the year.)
